Passionate Porsche enthusiasts can now spend the nights in the immediate vicinity of their sports car. And end an eventful day in the Porsche roof tent – preferably in the middle of nature. Because the elevated lying position allows a fantastic view of forest and meadows, mountains and lakes. If you want, you can also look up through the skylight and go on an adventure and discovery tour at the sky tent. In addition to the Skyview skylight, the roof tent has 2 side windows. These can be opened completely for ventilation and closed at night with an insect screen and additional darkening. During the trip, the 2-person tent is safely stowed away in an exclusive hard-shell case.The hard shell case designed at the Weissach Development Center is optionally available in the color combination black/light gray or black/dark gray. It was designed by Studio F.A. Porsche in Zell am See and bears the striking, matt black "PORSCHE" lettering on both sides. The year-round tent consists of a breathable cotton blend fabric, waterproof zippers and an additional rain cover for the entry hatch. A special eye-catcher are the side walls. They quote the legendary flyline of the 911 and are also printed with the "PORSCHE" lettering. But the interior also has some highlights to offer, for example the well-insulating, quilted lining in light grey, which is printed with a mountain silhouette at the head end. The quilting pattern is repeated on the integrated, comfortable mattress made of high-density polyfoam.The Porsche roof tent is attached to the basic rack roof transport system before the journey and can be additionally secured with the anti-theft device. At the holiday resort, it is then set up in a few simple steps. After opening the two lockable safety tabs, the hard shell case is lifted a little and – supported by 2 gas pressure dampers – opened. The foot part of the underbody can then be folded out and stabilized using the integrated telescopic ladder.
