Silica Gel-A porous, granular chemically inert silica gel with high absorbent capacity. Controls humidity in small, contained places like exhibit cases. Silica gel can absorb up to 40% of its own weight in water, easily reconditioned by drying in a standard oven at approximately 300 degrees F. for three hours. Blue indicating gel turns from blue to faded pink when saturation is complete.
