You may use this sensor with your Arduino/Raspberry Pi/ESP32 or any microcontroller to sense the distance of an object in front of the sensor. Connection Interface and programming is same as the popular HCSR-05, but the US-25 offers better range, accuracy and detection angle.
Since the ultrasonic sensor uses sonar to determine the distance to an object, its operation is not affected by sunlight, spotlight, and object’s surface color which will affect the readings of any infrared distance sensors. However acoustically soft materials such as clothes can be difficult to detect.
This US-025 ultrasonic ranging module can achieve the noncontact ranging function of 2cm~6m. The working voltage is 3v-5.5v and the working current is 5.3ma.
